Women of America, this is your chance to help make this a successful "Grass Roots" Women's World Cup

Partly because of the immediate need, and also because the World Cup Chairman, U.S. Soccer President Dr. Robert Contiguglia, comes via the grass roots of the U.S. Youth Organisations this could be the first World Cup where the many volunteers across the United States who have slogged for years in supporting the women's game will be welcomed by an organizing committee. In particular the women in the United States Youth organizations who helped in the creation of the women's game, and who were the main support behind the National Team in those early years only to find themselves ignored in 1999 are needed now.
