Our view of Olympic second round matches

Group E

At Athens

Sweden vs. Nigeria

Sweden will be highly motivated for this game, and they must be cautious in the opening minutes not to be lose in defense. Nigeria's main hope for success in this match is to score early. Sweden should be able to get back in control again.

Group F

At Patra

China vs. Mexico

Will the young China team be able to rebound after the thrashing by Germany? Mexico's tight defensive game may make it difficult for them. Their experience playing the USA so often will help but we think that China will win this one.

Group G

At Heraklio

Greece vs. Australia

A must game for both teams if they are going to stay for the next round. Both teams are evenly matched skill wise, but Australia strong physical style may give them the win.

At Thessaloniki

USA vs. Brazil

Should be the best game of the round to watch since both teams usually play open attacking soccer against each other, none of those boring defensive bunkers for these two teams.
