Germany to win World Cup today?

Germany is our pick to win their first World Cup today. Germany has looked the most organized and ready for the challenge. Stronger physically they look determined. Like their men's well known luck Germany drew the easiest group of this tournament, and only the USA stretched them. Sweden has had a series of battering physical games and it is wearing on the best of teams with so many games in such short a time.

The keys to the match will be the strong personality leaders in each team. They are Meinert for Germany and Svensson for Sweden. In previous games they have been the force that drives their respective teams. It should be a highly skilled, attractive contest.

Let us hope that the officiating does not continue its downward trend, where in the last match the referee had less vision and ability than her assistants, surely a first.
