Fulham promoted to National Division

Commentary

One of bonuses of playing in properly organised national leagues, is that any team can aspire to be champions of their country.

After 9 seasons since it's formation, Fulham have reached the top division, after a mid-week win at Barking. Many will point to the fact that the players are paid to play, but rising from Greater London League Division 4, is still a great feat. The team have only been professionals for a couple of seasons, which has helped to attract a few world-class players. With two national cup finals to come they will arguably be the team of the year, with every chance to win those finals.
