First time in Finals for the Blues in England AXA FA Premier League Cup, 2001-02

January 13th/16th 2002, Semi-Finals

Doncaster Belles 3 Birmingham City 4

Fulham v Arsenal

Commentary

An amazing result for the top club in the Northern Division Birmingham City, against the famous 'Belles'. So the 'Blues' will be in their first major final against either Fulham or Arsenal, and this relatively young team should enjoy there big day at Wycombe in March.

Fulham and Arsenal are due to meet on Wednesday evening at Conference club, Woking AFC.

If the holders, the 'gunners', can win this match there will be a conflict of interest with the home association as they are due to play Toulouse FC on Saturday 16th March in the 1st leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA clubs Championship.

FINAL:

Birmingham City v Fulham or Arsenal

March 17th 2002

At Wycombe Wanderers FC
