England AXA FA Cup 5th round draw keeps favorites Arsenal and Fulham apart

Colin Aldis

The draw, held on Monday morning at Soho Square, has thrown up several possible top-flight clashes. If reigning champions Arsenal beat Loughborough Students in their outstanding Fourth round tie they will meet the victors of the

Newcastle v Leeds United match at home. Fulham still have to play their Fourth Round game against Birmingham, due to a postponement on Sunday, but would face another trip to the Midlands to meet Coventry City should they progress.

National Division side Everton face another long trip to lower league opposition with a tie at Lincoln City. Everton won 4-2 at Bristol Rovers at the weekend.

Minnows Enfield’s reward for their giant killing over Southern Division Chelsea was a tie away to either Garswood Saints or Redhill, which could see a team from outside the Premier League reach the quarter-finals.

Fifth Round draw

Barry Town v Brighton & Hove Albion or/Doncaster Belles

Coventry City v Birmingham City or/Fulham

Garswood Saints or/Redhill v Enfield

Southampton Saints v Oldham Curzon

Loughborough Students or/Arsenal v Newcastle or/Leeds United

Sheffield Wednesday or/Langford v Charlton Athletic or/Bangor City

Lincoln City v Everton,

Tranmere Rovers or/Sunderland v Wolves
