Brazil beats the Netherlands 2-1 to take the Gold at the 21st Universiade

The Netherlands displayed their strengths in attacking and their shots at goal created great pressure on the Brazilians in the 1st half. But they did not manage to score. Brazil using their fast breaking counterattack Brazil opened the score in the 61st minute. The Netherlands equalized the score in just five minutes from time to send the match into overtime. In the 5th minute of the 2nd half of extra-time, Brazilian No.9 Soares Cintia scored a golden goal to help Brazil take the gold medal.

After winning the match, the Brazil players waved their national flag and celebrated together with football fans.

In the earlier match, Korea beat France 4-3 to take the bronze.
