Commentary
With the title secured, Arsenal were able host their final match at the
superb Highbury Stadium with 400 spectators, against the 'Belles', and
remained undefeated after the 2-1game. FA Womens supremo, Kelly Simmons
then presented the League trophy to captain Sian Williams, a third major
trophy for
the team this season.
Doncaster should
finish the season next Sunday, with a special day for captain, Gillian
Coultard who will retire from playing after the match, to concentrate
on coaching.
At the lower end
of the table, the relegation of Liverpool was confirmed during the week,
and Millwall are getting close to the drop, after the defeat at home.
