Shanghai TV defeats Beijing to win the Super Cup

Shanghai TV claimed their second title this month in the final of Super Cup after a 1-0 win over Beijing Chengjian. Before the match, the goalie Xiao Yan and Pu Wei returned to Shanghai to bolster the team's strength. In the 35th minute forward Tang Lingli, who scored 12 goals in the last season, scored the only goal of the match.
The 29-year-old striker, who was married just three days ago, has been included in the national squad.
Head coach Wang Haiming was voted as the best coach of the league and his goalkeeper Cao Yue was the goalie of China's Super League.
The new seasonšs China Super League will be held from May to July. Twelve teams will play in the tournament. The China Football Association plan to hold another tournament-China League next year. The league will be divided into three parts and held in March, April and August.
"To prepare for the the World Cup next year, we have to hold the league in three parts." CFA official Zhang Jianqiang said to the reporter.
