Beijing Chengjian claim "Jing-Kong Cup"

On May 1st. Beijing Chengjian, which is presently at the top of the China Women Premier League won the title of "Jing-Kong Cup" after defeating the hosts Hong Kong United 4-1 on penalty kicks after regular time.
Hong Kong United consists
of local players and several former China national players from Guangdong, including
the forward Wei Haiying. Beijing Chengjian sent some young players because their
four veterans are training with the national team in Guangdong now. It was goalless
at the half butBeijing Chengjian Yin Hongmei broke the deadlock in the 50th
minute after she tapped the cross from Yang Xuhong into the net. Hong Kong United
equalized with a free kick just before the end. During the penalty kick shootout,
the Beijing goalkeeper Zhou Yanhong saved three shots and the visitors won their
seventh "Jing-Kong Cup" finally.
