By Jia Ailing

Tony DiCicco arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, and was interviewed by the local media in Beijing International Airport.

"There is no official or formal negotiations. I am here with my agent, Peter, and there maybe some talks. But nothing is official," said Dicicco, who refused to discuss any details about his negotiation with the CFA.

As for Chinese national team, DiCicco said, "I don't know too much about the team. I saw them in the United States. I saw them in Greece. I understand that maybe a couple of players are retiring, like Fan Yunjie and Liping Wang. But I know from my coaching against the Chinese team that there are many good players."

Tony DiCicco added that he was not eager to win the position, "I do not want to say that I am eager. I am not eager, I am just interested in the position." But he also admitted, "In my opinion, I think it is a wonderful opportunity. I know there are many coaches are interested in coaching China Team."

Tomorrow, Tony DiCicco will meet the officers of CFA and discuss the details about his offer with them in Beijing.
