By Jia Ailing

Former China international player Zhang Ouying has decided to retire in 2006 after Ma Liangxing, the Head Coach of China National Team left her out of the National Team roster.

"Every player has to face retirement," Zhang said to the reporter, “ Now I have no position in the national team, I must make a choice although it is a hard decision."

Presently the Hebei club pays the 30-years-old forward USD125 per month. "I have to think seriously about my future," Zhang said.

Zhang began her career in 1988. Five years later she became a member of the national team and scored 24 goals for China. In 2002, Zhang Ouying joined San Diego Spirit and was named the player of the Month in the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) soccer league in April 2002.
