March 29, 2005 CFA promises more international matches for China National Team By Jia Ailing China Football Association announced a three year plan for the national team today. It includes includes more than 80 international matches for the team before the end of 2007. The China National Team deputy head coach Wang Haiming said that there were many rookies in the team and they all lacked experience. The team must play in more international matches to reach the goal of 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. CFA promised that team would play 18 to 20 matches this year and 50 to 60 matches in 2006 and 2007. CFA is contacting USA, Canada and Mexico associations for friendly matches, and plans for the National Team to play several international matches in the United States in July.
