China routs Jordan in AFC U-19 Championship

"Iron Roses" China routed Jordan 9-0 while newcomers Australia
crushed host Malaysia 16-0 in the second round of the AFC U-19 Championship.

In other two matches of the day DPR Korea scored a 14-0 victory over India
and Japan defeated Korea Republic 2-1 in the two-group preliminaries,
with the top two of each group entering the semi-finals.
In a lop-sided Group B match,
China enjoyed their scoring sprees against Jordan as defenders Weng Xinzhi
and Wang Dongni and forward Ma Xiaoxu each grabbed a brace. Zi Jingling,
Zhang Weishuang and Meng Yali chipped in with a goal each.
