China League kicks off

The China League kicked off in Luohe and Pingdingshan, Henan province
on Sunday. There are eleven teams in the league and the schedule is divided into four periods. The first period is from March 19 to March 24. The second period of the league, which is held in Wuhan, is between April 14 and 24. The CFA has not named the host of the third period of the league, but the fourth period of the league will be held in Taian, Shandong province from September 12 to 21..

In the first round Henan Shisanxiang and Shanxi were scoreless at the end of ninety minutes. Shanxi won 4-2 on penalty kicks.
"Zhao Xiaoyan's absence is the reason we lost the match." Wang Zhenxu,
the head coach of Henan said after the match. Zhao is a member of the China National Team and according to the rule of the CFA, she has to play in the China Super League for Dalian Shide this season.

In other matches, PLA defeated Xian Flyers 2-0 and Changchun routed Ningbo 5-0.
