South Korea launches its first women’s soccer league

The league starts play in 2007 in South Korea.

Participating teams
Seoul Seoul city hall Amazones.
Inchen Hyundai iron and steel Redangels
Chungchong-namdo Ilwha chunma
Kyongsang-namdo Daegyo kangaroos.

In their first season they will play a total of 15 games in 5 rounds per team.

Busan Sang-mu is organizing a team and will take part in the league during the second half of the year.

They are hoping to create a lot of interest in the women's game in South Korea.
