China Four Nation Tournament
Scoring
France Elise Bussaglia, 73rd. minute
China Han Duan(Liu Huana, 92nd.
Match
A late goal by forward Han
Duan helped host China snatch a draw against France in their first match
of the Tournament. Her header in the box found the back of the net in
injury time and cancelled an earlier strike by France substitute Elise
Bussaglia in a tense match.
The FCF Juvisy midfielder's
long-range shot from the side of the penalty
box in the 73rd minute sailed pass goalkeeper Han Wenxia into the top
right hand corner of the goal.
France came out strong in the
first half, but it was China who had the
first chance of the game as Ma Xiaoxu dribbled past France defenders
only to slice her shot wide in the 11th minute.
The visitors effort paid off
in the 73rd minute as Elise Bussaglia scored
to put them up 1-0. She smashed a side volley past Han Wenxie who could
not reach the ball. Two minutes later Lattaf Hoda nearly gave them a two
goal advantage when her shot hit the bar and was saved by Han Wenxia.
In the 71st minute, China nearly
drew level but captain Li Jie's
header went just over the bar. China junior Han Duan headed the equalizer
from a Liu Huana cross in the 92nd minute of the match.
