April 9, 2004 China roster for Asian Olympic Qualifiers By Jia Ailing The China Football Association on Friday named a 20-member squad for the Asian Olympic Qualifiers to be held in Japan from April 18-26th..   China   Goalkeepers Xiao Zhen, Han Wenxia Ning Zhenyun Defenders Wang Liping, Li Jie, Fan Yunjie, Ren Liping, Liu Yali, Jin Xiaomei Shi Dan Midfielders Pu Wei Qu Feifei Bi Yan Zhang Ying Liu Huana Forwards Han Duan Teng Wei Zhang Ouying Bai Lili Ji Ting   Following the withdrawal of India the AFC decided to divide the eleven teams, including China, DPRK and the host Japan, into three groups. The top team from each group and the best second-place team of the three groups will go into the semi-finals.
