January 30, 2005 China crushes Australia and Germany rebounds to beat Russia

Sunday, 30 January, 2005 Quanzhou Stadium, Fujian Province.
Pan Lina, Han Duan, and Ren Liping scored a goal each to lead China over the visitors Australia 3-0. China is now in first place after two rounds of the Four-Nation Tournament.
Game Pan Lina gave the home side the lead in the 61st minute. The captain, who suffered an injury after World Cup 1999, celebrated her return with a goal.
Two minutes later, Han Duan scored her second goal in the tournament. Her wonderful shot found the back of the net stunning Australia goalkeeper Kell Cassandra.
Ren Liping completed the scoring just one minute later after receiving a free-kick from Shi Mengyu, her teammate in Beijing Chengjian.
Ren Liping was named the player of the match by the organizer.
"It was a normal match," the deputy head coach Wang Haiming said in the press conference, "We won the match because my players are in good condition. Frankly, I think the visitors are stronger than us but they looked so tired in the second half."
