Game

Pan Lina gave the home side the lead in the 61st minute. The captain, who suffered an injury after World Cup 1999, celebrated her return with a goal.

Two minutes later, Han Duan scored her second goal in the tournament. Her wonderful shot found the back of the net stunning Australia goalkeeper Kell Cassandra.

Ren Liping completed the scoring just one minute later after receiving a free-kick from Shi Mengyu, her teammate in Beijing Chengjian.

Ren Liping was named the player of the match by the organizer.

"It was a normal match," the deputy head coach Wang Haiming said in the press conference, "We won the match because my players are in good condition. Frankly, I think the visitors are stronger than us but they looked so tired in the second half."
