Draw Ceremony of Asian Championship 2005 held in Hanoi

The draw ceremony of the Asian Women's Football Championship 2005
Preliminary was held in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, on Tuesday.

The twelve teams were divided into four groups and the top two
from each of the groups will compete with each other to choose the four
strongest teams.

Those four teams, together with China, Japan, South Korea and North Korea, will play in the finals of the tournament.

The tournament will be held at Hanoi's My Dinh Stadium from June 12-24.
Group A
Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar;
Group B
Guam, India and Chinese Taipei;
Group C
Maldives, Uzbekistan and Hong Kong;
Group D
Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.
