Final Results of US Youth Soccer ODP National Championships -

1985 Girls Championship

In the 1985 Girls championship match, midfielder Brittany Bock goal for Illinois edged outNew Jersey, 1-0.

Illinois goalkeeper Julie Ryder earned her second adidas Golden Glove award and Bock earned the

adidas Golden Boot award.

Illinois 1, New Jersey 0

Scoring - Bock 67th

Consolation - Georgia 2, California South 0

Scoring - Wiggins 16th, Guess 70th

1987 Girls Championship

The Cal-South '87 Girls' trip to the trophy presentation was not easy. In the 7th minute a goal by Midfielder Kristina Loucks gave Cal-South an early 1-0 lead. Maryland forward Ashley Myers scored one to force overtime. Midfielder Kim Silos scored the sudden death "golden goal" to give the Cal-South the title. Cal-South's Amy Rodriguez won the adidas Golden Boot, while Maryland goalkeeper Julie Kafka earned the adidas Golden Glove trophy.

California South 2, Maryland 1 (OT)

Scoring - CS: Loucks 7th, Silos 80+; M: Myers 35th

Consolation

Ohio North 3, North Carolina 1

Scoring - NC: Keener 12th; ON: Wilde 29th, Rosen 40th, Kozan 63rd
