March 7, 2001 In W-League news Louis Manoussos
is the first Long Island Lady Riders Super Y-League Girls Coach "It's a privilege to be a part of the Long Island Lady Riders organization. I thank Chuck Jacob and the entire Lady Riders organization for giving me this wonderful opportunity," Manoussos said. "The Super Y-League will give more women an opportunity to better themselves, and I am looking forward to a great season." Manoussos is no stranger to coaching girls soccer on Long Island. He coaches the U-16 Sachem Flames in the Sachem Soccer Club. His team competes in the prestigious ENYYSA Premier Division and he has led them to a Division I title and to the ENYYSA State Cup finals. Manoussos also served as a coach for the Commack Soccer Club from 1990 94 where his teams won three Division I crowns, three Chase Cup titles and one State Cup championship. He also coached on the collegiate level as the men's assistant coach at Dowling in 1993-94 and as the head coach at Pratt Institute in 1994-95. "The Lady Riders
are pleased that our first Y-League team will be coached by Louis. He
has deep roots in Long Island soccer and has proven himself coaching both
young women and young men," said Long Island Lady Riders chairman Chuck
Jacob. "For some time we have sought a way to bring Louis into the Lady
