The US Youth Soccer Girls Olympic Development Program (ODP) National Camp and adidas Elite Soccer Program(ESP) to hold the first ever ODP/ESP National Camp
The camp will be held from July 30-August 4, 2002 at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington.
Camps and competitions will run consecutively for almost the entire month of July, but most players will receive a full week of rest before striving for a spot in the pool of players from which the U.S. Under-18 and Under-16 Women's National teams will be selected.
The five-day event, the first to be completely free for the girls to attend, will consist of training sessions, games, and off-the-field classroom sessions.
