US Youth Soccer Foundation to be set up
The US Youth Soccer Board of Directors unanimously approved the establishment of the United States Youth Soccer Association Foundation at its May 11, 2001 meeting. The Foundation will be known as the US Youth Soccer Foundation and will have its own National Council. The first meeting of the Foundation Council will take place immediately after the adjournment of the US Youth Soccer National Council meeting at the US Soccer Annual General Meeting in Atlanta. A proposed agenda for the Foundation Council meeting will be distributed by June 20th and will include the nomination and election of five at-large directors to the Foundation Board of Directors and other items to be determined.
