Game
China was slow to start in the first half allowing Canada to take advantage
of an obstruction in the box penalty kick.. But the rocket was deflected
off defender Wei Zheng's back, blocking Canada's first scoring attempt.
After the half, there was no stopping China. As the Texas sun beat down
upon the gathering crowd during the second half, China turned it up a
notch scoring back-to-back goals each by Han Duan.
Ten minutes into
the second half, Han Duan began her every-two-minutes goal attack, scoring
again in the 57th and 59th minutes winning the game for China, 3-0.
