Article Index 2001 July 17, 2001 Annalisa Pawlosky is named U.S. Youth Soccer's
Young Female Referee of the Year "I love the game,
that is why I do it," Annalisa says. "One thing that winning this award
made me realize was that there are so many other really talented female
referees out there. One great aspect of winning this award is getting
to meet the other female referees, which is very beneficial to me." The Young Female Referee of the Year is chosen from a group of four regional winners who have also won recognition in their home states. From this group one female is chosen as a winner of the Young Female Referee of the Year award. Being named US Youth Soccer's Young Referee of the Year is a distinguished honor that reflects the dedication and hard work that these youth bring to the soccer field.
