2000/2001 : 4th UEFA Under-18 Championship
33 nations took part this year in competition. Qualifying consists of three rounds.
Italy, Norway, France,
Sweden, Finland, and Germany,the reigning champion, all qualify directly
to the third round.
Jugoslavia, Israel, Denmark, Czech Republic,England, Finland,
Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Russia, and Slovakia qualified directly
to the second round.
The final phase will be in the form of a mini-tournament from July 25-August
7 with a final between the top two
It should be noted that this will be the last time for an UEFA U-18 championship for it will be replaced by an Under-19 championship in accordance with the new Under-19 World Championship in 2002.

- 1998 : Denmark
- 1999 : Sweden
- 2000 : Germany
Third Round: To be played April 2001.
The top team in each group will qualify for the final phase.
