U.S.
Under-18 National Team and U.S. Under-16 National Team to compete in the
United States Amateur Soccer Association's "U.S. Soccer Festival 2000
in Kingston, Rhode Island
The fifth annual tournament, which includes women's teams
from all four USASA regions, will be played from July 31st. through August
6th. There are two groups of four womenÕs teams with each U.S. National
Team playing a total of four games. The U.S. Amateur Soccer Festival was
originally conceived when the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) discontinued

Soccer Festival, which is sponsored and organized by the USASA, has incorporated
the concept used in the U.S. Sports Festival and has expanded it to include
several U.S.National Teams.
