Mason, starting 23 games and earning 5.5 shutouts with 1.16 goals against
average ... Started in goal as a freshman for George Mason during the 1996
college season, earning all-conference honors while starting 16 games with
two shutouts ... One of the top youth goalkeepers in the country coming
out of high school, she was a Parade All-American ... A four-sport
athlete in high school, she played four years of soccer, field hockey and
