into the U.S. National Team for the first time after a strong performance
in the 1995 U.S. Olympic Festival for the North Team, earning a spot on
the U.S. Cup `95 roster ... She debuted against Chinese Taipei in U.S. Cup
`96, and as a substitute against Norway in the championship game, she set
up the winning goal in sudden death overtime ... Traveled with the U.S.
to Brazil in January of 1996, scoring her first career international goal
against Ukraine ... Played several games with the U.S leading up to the
1996 Olympics ... Currently the captain of the U-20 National Team. College/High
School: Rated as the nation's top incoming defender, she started 22
games for Notre Dame as a freshman ... Named first-team All-Big East and
scored three goals with 10 assists from the sweeper position, helping Notre
Dame to the NCAA championship game ... Named to the Illinois All-State Girl's
